The car meet at Valley Circle and Calabasas Road in Calabasas, CA is held every Sunday. But the Last Sunday of the month is the big one. I've been to several of the regular Sunday meets, but not until today did I attend the last Sunday of the month meet.

I had heard that you needed to arrive between 6:30-7 in the morning or there wouldn't be any parking spots left. So, I got up early and arrived at 6am. There was only one car in the parking lot when I got there. By 7am, the place was getting full. Cars continued to arrive and search for the occasional open parking spaces unto 11am when I left.

It was a great meet, there were so many Ferraris and Lambos that people would walk right past most of them.

Alot of those cars look familiar from a carshow in Westlake Village.

Ick gad, I love Muiras. And that is a beautiful example of one.

The owner (Jeff) of that Muira “S” told me he has several Muiras. He also said that he is a Muira mechanic and works on other owner’s Muiras from across the country. I really enjoyed talking to him. He is a very down-to-Earth guy and he loves Honda/Acura. He said that in 1991, he almost bought an NSX. He spent quite a while checking-out my NSX and we both pointed out and discussed the similarities between the two cars. He especially liked the CTSC and the way it was packaged.

Great minds think alike.;) The Muira has to be one of the most beautiful automotive creations. The engine bay photo looks like he takes care of it.

What is the purpose of that paper towel holder on the Red Bug???

$10 bucks says that's an intake airbox.

Eddie,

I never made it down to Crystal Cove, but I heard Cars & Coffee (PAG) was bigger. I've been to PAG a couple of times and this meet was maybe 1.5-2 times as big (though it seemed 3 to 4 times bigger.) If you look at the first 2 photos, they were taken at the same location (just rotated the camera.) I walked down the parking lot (South) a ways and took the 3rd photo... walked even further down the parking lot and took the 4th. You can see in the 4th photo that it is still a long way down to the end. There were also cars up the parking lot (North) from the 1st shot.

The two following links gives an arial view of the two parking lots for comparision. Both links are the same scale.

PAG and Calabasas
