I have had the same surprise in the Silicon Valley area. While pumping premium at the 76 station I regularly fill up at, I noticed the 91 octane sticker where I used to see a 92 octane sticker in the past. Stopped at 5 bucks worth. Luckily there is a Chevron only minutes from the house the has 92 octane. Its a few pennies more but they also have free air!! Rare these days.
