I have a C30 engine pulled from a sand rail with 39 hrs on engine I did performed a compression test on all cylinders here are the reading cylinder 1 175 cylinder 2 175 cylinder 3 165 cylinder 4 175 cylinder 5 175 cylinder 6 165
asking 6,500.00 will not ship local pick up in so cal 91744

That's a lot of money for a C30 that needs a rebuild, those compression numbers are not good at all.

I don’t have an opinion on price but the fact that all of the cylinders have pretty consistent cylinder pressure, I would bet that its actually not bad. Sometimes if you are using a weaker battery or a specific gauge that reads low, I’ve seen numbers like this.

if it was bad, I’d bet the farm that 1 or maybe 2 cylinders would be far lower than the others.

id just ask for A 2nd gauge test with some video footage.

Did a leak down test on motor and needs piston rings so I’m dropping price down to 3500.00
