C.D. changer help

I have a chance to buy a alpine cd/mp3 player, it is
model # cha-s634. According to the FAQ any Alpine
changer will be compatible, but I called Circuit City
and they say that it isn't. I know I can get a good
deal on it, but if it doesn't work it won't be worth
it at any price. Any of you nsxers out there I would
really appreciate the input.
