Buying HDTV from amazon?

I am in the market for a 55-60 hdtv. Originally I was planning to buy a plasma but after looking at LED TV at a local Fry and Best Buy, I think I am going to buy an LED TV.

I want to buy it on amazon.com including their instl service. Has anybody here bought TV from Amazon and how's their service?

also, whatchu think of LED vs plasma TV?

LED is great, I just switched from a 58" plasma to a 55" LED myself. I did it mainly for heat reasons, the plasma gets really hot (and its a bedroom TV). Pic quality is about as good.. maybe blacks arent quite as good on the LED, but I am pleased.
