Yesterday I put a deposit on a '89 Mastercraft 220. It is from a local dealer, and the sale is contingent on an in-water test drive. While the boat is 16 years old, they are fairly simple machines with inboard Ford 351 engines and direct drive prop shafts. Any help on what to look out for? I am already aware of the obvious engine-specific things like oil pressure and compression.
Just wondering if anyone here has experience with these boats.
Thanks in advance.
