I have seen some suspicious offerings for NSXs in the last little while:
On eBay:
- a '91 with 29K miles "THIS BABY WAS MY DREAM CAR AND I WILL CHOOSE MY BUYER VERY CAREFOULY SO PLEASE DO NOT BID UNLESS YOU CONTACT ME, ALL BIDDS MADE WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE WILL BE CANCELLED.I MIGHT CONSIDER SELLING IT FOR $23,500 IF I FIND THE RIGHT BUYER."
- another listed a '91 $12K on autotrader.com and I think ebay as well.
- a Toronto listing on autotrader.ca of of a '95 supposedly in excellent condition for $29K Canadian !!!!!. He had a phone number that went to FAX and said the first one to send money would get the car. He emailed me back asking for my address and claimed I wasn't serious when I questioned his address request.
Do we have a new scam here? (people putting up a NSX at a ridiculously low prices in the hope of getting deposit money etc).
