Buyer beware, another NSX scam - JH4NA1154NT000865

AD was on AutoTrader but has since been removed as of tonight.

Seller claims to be out of the country and wants me to wire him the money ASAP. Docs, title, and records would be mail to be UPS overnight.

When ask if I can go see the car this weekend, he said he'll ship it to be for free; even though the car is supposedly 30 miles where I live.

An excerpt from his E-Mails:

I'll ship it by DAS and it will take no more then 3 days to get to you. The keys and papers will be sent by UPS overnight. The total price including shipping is $19,000. As I listed the car with Auto Trader and Yahoo Autos, they will handle the financial transaction so we can be 100% protected and insured

Google search on the VIN number returned a ton of hits.

Total scam... My Brother knows the "true owner/ dealer selling the car. I to recv'd. The same reply however my price was only 10k.....

I also ran into a scam on EBAY which looked very official looking. The seller left a name and telephone number on an NSX under market value. after I left a message on the guy's phone number I got through the telephone book as well as the number he left, the real guy called me leaving me a message that his identity had been stolen. unbelievable! that stuff happens, so beware!

I saw an orange one on ebay a few days ago with number/address/etc. for Michigan... However, the plates on the car were from Cali. LOL! Then I looked on cars.com or autotrader and saw the exact same car, but from Cali. Ebay ad was pulled later...
