Anyone going to Speedventures at Buttonwillow on August 23,24?I'm thinking of going for the Sunday event.

Paul

Probably picking up my car in Px so no,
but I heard they will be conducting their first w2w race, cool.
Doug H. should be there.

2Slow (Ken) will be there in his yellow monster.

I'm sure Rylan and gang with their S2Ks will be there as well. I would have been there, but I have a bachelor party in Reno that I must attend... it was a tough decision which to go. ;)

Kenji,

Hopefully you survived the bachelor party, hehe ;)

Yep, the S2000 folks were there, Dave as well as Rylan and some other S2000 guys who were wickedly fast ;).

I'm pretty sure that Doug will have the w2w report for Saturday up on his site.

I had a chance to meet Paul (HPV100) as well as Aaron (Nimbus) today at Buttonwillow. Both of them were great guys, hopefully we can convince them to come up to some events at Laguna, Sears or Thill so they can enjoy some "real" changes in elevation, LOL.

Both John and Aaron from speedventures are a great bunch of folks, I think that you can really maximize tracktime running with them. It was pretty much an open track during the afternoon sessions. If you were really determined you could run up to 4+ hours per day!

BTW: Greenflag has 4 weekend dates coming up, perhaps you can attend some of those events ;).

Hmm.. We need more NSX enthusiasts, I don't see any other NSX owners signed up for the Unlimited laps event on Wednesday :(. Oh well..

Ken

It was nice meeting you and Paul yesterday as well. I gotta save more money and import those JDM Type S seats too, man they're nice!

Speedventure events always give you lots of track time. Too bad it was just so hot out there in the afternoon. Can't wait for the cooler weather to come.

Is there a website for Greenflag track schedules? I'm not familiar with them. Right now I'm just using this as my event guide: http://track-days.org/page1.html

If you have any more info on upcoming track days, please do share. I can do both weekdays and weekends.

Hi Aaron,

Greenflag's website is www.greenflagdriving.com they actually have 3 events (not 4 as per my prior post). Thill, Laguna and Buttonwillow. It's the organization that shows up as GFDA. Green Flag Driving Association or something along those lines. I'm planning on attending the Thill and Laguna Events (Both days if possible they are weekends ;).

You might also want to check NCRC www.ncracing.org they are a fun group to run as well. Lot's of good drivers with lot's of track time as well.

The Golden Gate Chapter of the Lotus Club also holds events as well, most of the time they only have 2 run groups with about 50 cars total.

Hey Ken and Aaron,
I also wanted to say that it was a pleasure to meet both of you, I had a blast on Sunday and Ken your right the afternoon session was wide open. We definately need to have more nsx presence at these events. You have to handed to John Wurth and Aaron Bitterman, speedventures is a great track event.

Aaron,
Since your so mechanically inclined, when I get my tein RA, I'll call you to help me install them :)

Paul

KenjiMR,

Aaron lied when he said that he would be at the track without his nsx. He showed up with his Zanardi, so he doesn't have teins.
Ken has teins on his X. I want to get some teins, Ken said that he notice alot of roll on my car when he was behind me. I'm running eibach and stock shocks and I don't think I like it for the track. How do you like the teins.

Aaron, do you also have TEIN-RA installed?

I think Ken is currently running 10kg/10kg TEIN-RA which is the same as me.

Any other details of your suspension setup?

I ran the 10k/12k TEIN-RE for 2 years on my previous NSX. Had excellent results, very satisfied.
