ButtonWillow

You going on the solo Erik or is your brother headed out too? I saw that Saturday is full, sunday has a little more room, I may end up doing that at the last min.

Congrats on the PB!

For Cotton corners (T3-4-5) Right-Left-Right/over crest: Turn in earlier for each turn and get up on the first two curbs. Try short-shifting to 4th and be closer to full throttle through riverside and the left-hand kink, then downshift back to 3rd for phil-hill. Also be a little more aggressive with your steering inputs in the esses and emphasize a later apex so you don't have to lift as much in the last left hander (which is full throttle at the limit).

Keep up the good work!

Stuntman. Thank you for the pointers! Next time I am out there I will try it out. I guess with the street tires im on sub 2:10 maybe 2:08 is where I should be.

Very nice! bummed I missed out on that Saturday. For sure you have the 2:08 in it for the next time, car looks very settled and i imagine you don't have to lift as much on the second crest of cotton corners or on the kink into truck stop. Cant wait to get out there again, what times did the s2k run?

About the same as mine. My brother got stuck in traffic and quite honestly the track was very dirty from all the offs I saw. I was surprised to see 6 offs just in the first session. I know its not extremespeeds fault but man they attract a lot of yahoo's!

^^ totally agree. I have 6 free track days with them and I still opt to pay to run with another group at different track on the same day. Chuckwalla and WSIR are typically alright with EXS becasue not many people go to WSIR and not many people from out in LA want to drive to Chuckwalla.
