T.E.A.M. Racing brings to you its first event of 2006 -- a fun-packed track day at Buttonwillow Raceway on May 26th. Cost is only $210 per driver (sorry folks, the track prices went up everywhere this year). As always, our events will include morning coffee service, a supply of water and Gatorade, snacks, catered lunches, and at least two hours of track time! Also, new for this year, we have a dedicated team of instructors to help out not only the novice drivers, but folks at the intermediate and advanced levels, as well! Our instructors will be going through training in March, to make sure we are all onboard with exactly what we must do to keep you safe and happy. For complete details, please visit us on the web at http://www.team-racing.org We hope you can join us!!! :D

Re: Car type rules

Bonnie, just out of curiosity, what are your club and/or your insurance rules for car types? such as formula cars?

***The insurance does not see a difference between open and fendered cars. We let in a few open wheelers occasionally, but we stress that the open wheeler needs to be especially careful and maintain a polite attitude, especially in passing situations. As an open wheel driver, you should know what can happen if you make contact with a fendered car (contact is a 'go home Johnny' rule with us, anyway). So as long as you keep it cool (yes, I will be watching -- just call me 'mother hen' -- I am pretty strict when it comes to driver safety, fair warning, lol), I have no problem with open wheelers. Besides, they look cool. ;)
