Oct 19, 2009 issue, page 58, "A plan to launch Acura in Japan in 2010 was axed, as was a new sports car, a project Ito (Honda CEO) had once overseen himself."

and "As the former chief of Honda's racing programs, Ito says the hardest move was pulling out of the Forumla One circuit in December."

The rest article was about honda maneuvered over the downturn by focusing on fuel saving small to mid-sized vehicles rather than sports cars (s2000) and large SUVs.

EDIT: okay I just googled, he is the ex-chief designer of NSX.

And we should add, now that BrawnGP, with the chassis that the Honda F1 Team designed and built last year, has won both driver's and constructor's world championships, Ito can add catastrophically poor timing, lack of staying power, and dim vision to his corporate resume.
