Sadly I'm resorting to asking vs. looking - only because I'm not near my ride at the moment. Before I pull it out from storage in a month or so, I'd like to swap out the parking light bulbs and the DRL bulbs. The turningn signals will remain amber, but I want to swap the bulbs for everything else to a cooler white that better matches the HID's color temp. What have you guys done? Do you utilize a halogen or LED? What have you had the best success with?

I put in LED's and I am quite happy with the results. Both the parking lights and the drl's looked so yellow before, but have that nice white look now. I don't have any pics right now, but maybe can post some when I get a chance to take some.

I'm in the same boat as Bigglezworth. I switched to HIDs (4300K) and the clear bulbs look yellow and don't match.

JDMcb7, those look good. If you don't mind me asking, what did you use and where did you find them?

I changed my parking and drl lights to LEDs last week. Much brighter and match my hid converted headlights much better

I used a 12 led bulb. I had a 16 but it was too bright.
No experience with longetivity yet as just installed them

I finally took some pics of both the marker light and the drl's. The marker lights are 5 led 360 degrees and I think that the drl's are 12 led, but don't quote me on that. IMO, they look pretty even in brightness, but you need to be the judge.

Your LED's look much like mine and really give the car a modern look. The old bulbs were getting yellow. I also did the interior, trunk and licence plate lights. I tried out LED's in the signal lights. They didn't have the same resistance as incandescent so the clicker ran at triple normal speeds. I went back to regular bulbs for the signal lights.

I thought I would give LED bulbs another shot at DRL use.
I am using a 13 LED for the marker lamps, but these are also my DRLs. They are bright but maybe not bright enough for DRLs. there is a 25, 38, and 42 LED as well.
The 24 SMD LED bulb produces about 150 Lumens. That works out to about a 10W, 12V bulb. That is probably better for a DRL.

I also did the interior, trunk and license plate lights. It does look good. I don't know if doing the side markers would be noticeable with the colored lenses, but I do have the bulbs to replace them, so I may try them just out of curiosity. I will also pull a DRL bulb out to check how many led's are on each one. I believe that I installed some time back in Feb. so I am not 100% sure which ones they are. I will post.

Anyone have a set of front signal lights they don't need. I got mine redone to led strips back in the day and want to go back to stock now.

Anyone have a store online to recommend so we can purchase these LED bulbs?

Went thru DDM Tunning (ddmtuning.com) got my hid kit( 55w 6000k) for like $39.99 and parking light bulbs (194) and turn signal bulbs (1156) for $30($4.99 and 9.99 each).. They are local to San Diego area so it made it easy...also got some led strips for DLRs there too, but had to customize them as they were too bright. Going back today to get some interior, tail lights and plate lights to finish it all up...
