As some of you know, I had a motor failure last year when my coolant tank split. I have been getting the motor rebuilt by Lovefab but when I saw that Kip had his stroker engine for sale, I bought it from him via Shad. My rebuilt motor will soon be available and for sale. I am posting here for anyone interested so that before it is back together, anything can be done for the new owner.
Basics:
The motor had originally been built by ELITE. It was sleeved and low compression. With the rebuild
New pistons and slight overbore to 92.5 mm with 9:1 compression
Rebuilt heads with new valves and new LMA from SOS
New timing built (Power enterprises)
Cometic head gasket
New Honda oil pan which has not been tapped
New refinished red valve covers from Garrick.
I am open to offers but if you are really serious, let me now if there is anything you want done before the engine is reassembled. for more details of the rebuild, will have to wait until Cody is back from Pikes Peak.
