This is a question for anyone who has fitted aftermarket seat rails really.
Do these rails look right to you? I have arrowed the bracket in the first photo which as you can see is welded at a slight angle (this is actually the RH seat rail), I see no reason for this but as yet I have not had a chance to offer them up to the NSX to see if it's like that for a reason.
Maybe someone could say for definite if it's right or wrong?

Looks like a repair as there is only one hole in this leg and the other have two.

Are these the RO's from VTECH?

Hagasan, you really are Magnum PI... They are the RO's from VTEC.

This is how they came out of the box, I noticed the lack of hole in that leg too but I don't know if it's required or not.

I can't see a use for the extra hole myself looking at standard runners. I guess you won't see the backs that easily once installed. It might be worth trial fitting it to make sure it fits the car though just in case you need to get it swapped..

I was going to get a set myself....I held back as I wasn't sure they'd fit the recaros I already have from my old 911 which I sold last year....Have you got seats for them yet? How much were they in the end....The prices seemed to be going up & up...

I have a pair of old NSX ripped seats and was considering ripping out the lecky runners and making up brackets to my recaros so that I get the lecky slider like the type-r version.....

Failing that I was thinking the SOS ones as they are adjustable so I know they'd fit my seats.....

I have the seats, Pole Positions, they cost me £760 delivered from Capital Seating in Ambla Leather \ Dinamica suede. They threw in some Dinamica to do my door cards too.
I have converter brackets to fix them to the RO rails.

The price of the rails has gone up loads due to the strength of the Yen unfortunalely.

I think I read on here that someone mounted their Pole Positions to their leccy seat rails, worth a try. I wanted max headroom and weight savings.

Another company I was told of that do rails, which look really good, is Vanner. They would not reply to any emails though....

You are right, the bracket will be hidden when installed, but would you accept that quality out of principle?

Well that is a tough call as they took a while to arrive.

Are the brackets the ones he had made?

What shape are the brackets?

He was on about making L shape ones.

Cheers,

AR

All you see in the photo are the stock Bride RO rails.

The conversion brackets to adapt the bottom mount rails to suit side mount seats are simple L shaped brackets.

I think he has more RO rails in stock now, so a swap out should be possible....

I got mine elsewhere and they were straight, if I was you, I'll check if it fits first.
