Brembo Brakes

yes anodized( black hard coat)

Hey thanks everyone. Mine are anodized also and just want to be sure this is standard since I’m changing the color. Currently they are red and I want to change to black. I know of a company locally who can strip, eradiate and anodize them. I am also painting my calipers yellow witch are also red anodized.

your hats are red? I don't think they come in red( tried ordering them like that) maybe someone(like the place you bought them?) painted them? and the calipers are not anodized(they are cast , which cannot be anodized) they are painted, its not even brake fluid proof! Is your bbk a BREMBO GT?

My brakes were custom ordered. I ordered the hats and the calipers in Red anodize. At the time that's what I wanted. They are not cast aluminum they are machined from a solid billet of aluminum. WP Pro is who built them.

Hi Ken,
I used to run that set up on my other NSX.
From my experience, they are not very good brakes (but good price)
I had it on my car for no more than 6K miles (non track) and yet, the pads were gone and the totors were toasted. It squeaks and dusty as hell! It was a mistake for me to resale to another prime member, because I had to do a refund on the fact that the rotors were toasted.
FWIW they are made in Taiwan (my friend used to be their authorized dealer).
I felt that I need to reply to your post here because other prime members need to hear my experience also.

They are the same manufacture but yours are different from mine. They look very different and you have a spacer between the two caliber sections I do not. I only went with the cross drilled rotors not the slotted.
I will say I am very happy with mine and would order them again.

Looks like they have improved.
My friend actually had dual 6-pot set up on his M3. They look awsome though.
How long have you had it Ken? what is your input in street/track usage?
