Mine look like it is cracking possibly due to having 02R hood and exposure to sun. Can I just replace the reservoir without having to get the whole unit?

There's no separate part no. for the reservoir, only the full pump which is $2k+. What does your dealer say?

I have not gone to the dealer yet. How much would the new ABS upgrade be?

I found the part number

57196-SK7-003 CAP, RESERVE TANK about $26.00 US - cap and reservoir
57119-SL0-003 MARK, RESERVE TANK (ABS) $6.00 US - new yellow ABS

I have my old reservoir from the ABS I can give you, but shipping might cost more than the reservoir. PM me your address if you want the reservoir.

My EPC shows the part seperate, i do think though that in the US the part is not availble, but then, youre not in the US...
Check with oldmnsx for more info on that.

P/N: 57191-SG0-802 TANK COMP., RESERVE

This is the P/N for ABS type 1 which i think you have judging from the pics.
My EPC gives my pricing, but thats very old. Listed for 25 Euro.

Thanks Chris. I'll just order a new one. Headup for those who have 02R hood. Cover the tank from direct sunlight.

The first part is the dark grey cap only. The reservoir tank is NOT included. It only comes with part no. 2 which is $2k+, so it's the full unit. The second part is the label only.

Thomas,

Item #7 is the cap and reservoir and #4 is for the yellow label. I posted US Acura part numbers.

I'm still not sure about this. I strongly believe that #7 is the cap and the rubber gasket but without the reservoir itself. The part no. Mich posted can't be found in the Acura parts catalog but I guess this is correct for the reservoir itself. Let's see what Jin can find out at his dealer but it will be a problem in his country anyway, won't it?

Most of the time NSX parts are hard to come by here in our dealership. I'll try to find out if Japan has the reservoir separated. Or else I'll upgrade the ABS.

Yes. I'll get one of those. Try shopping for them yesterday but my car could not start at one of the shop. Classic case of bad Main Relay.
when you replace it make sure you put one these over it for protection.

I agree that that's what it appears to be. The name implies that too; the name of the part, shown here, is "57196-SK7-003 CAP, RESERVE TANK".

Went to the dealer this afternoon and found out there are 4 different setup. All showing the reservoir tank can be ordered separately. 3 of which are the same shape and one slightly different. I am waiting for price quote from them.
