Running PFC01 front / Cobalt Friction XR3 rear. They both dust like CRAZY. But that's the deal, doesn't bother me other than PITA to get off. The Cobalt seems much harder to get off. It gets in the corners and you have to rub like crazy, use your finger nail, etc. Major PITA.

This time after cleaning the wheels I coated them with Klasse Sealant. 1 coat, let dry overnight and then a second and let dry.

OMG! Just got back from 3 days at the track and as usual the wheels were coated. Sprayed with Mothers Wheel Clean and rinsed and it ALL CAME OFF. It had even rained after the first day and you know what happens to race pad brake dust after it gets wet and then dries and then another coat on day 2 and another or day 3. Well, it didn't matter. Mothers and rinse!!! I didn't even have to wipe them down. NO SCRUBBING FOR ME TONIGHT.

so I'm guessing this klasse stuff is safe for all finishes? is it a pita to apply? I have gloss black powder coated wheels and I'm getting tired of seeing them turn a nice light rust color as the days go by (mine is a daily driver)...think I'm using hawk pads....probably change to something with less dust next time....

bump....anyone know if i should be safe using this stuff for for powder coated gloss wheels?

I have tried the armorall and it works for street driving and pads, but was only marginally effective after a weekend at the track.

oh...do you have a video disputing their video??

No, I have used the product. Numerous times, with mediocre results. Before going to the track, cleaned the wheels, sprayed the Armorall, let it dry for 3hrs, coated again, let it dry overnight and this is the result after one day on the track.... shit doesn't work. Maybe it was a "little" easier cleaning the wheels, but not anything worth while. The Klasse I mentioned above, hosed right off and didn't need to agitate or even wipe the wheel down. Just sprayed with the Mothers and rinsed.

I would assume so, it is actually made as a sealant for car paint. I also use it on the windshields in leu of rainx as it lasts much longer than the 2 weeks rainx does.

wow, your pic totally killed that video lol....klasse it is then! thanks for the winshield tip too...never would have thought of that....

Awesome idea. Just ordered some from Amazon.com to give a try. You are truly full of some awesome ideas

Finally got around to trying the Klasse sealant on my wife's R32 wheels (nasty dust problem)... boy does that stuff work well -- now it just takes a stream of water to remove what used to take soap, water and a scrub brush.
The NSX is next, but my MIM/Speedline wheels never seem to collect too much dust, even on the track -- but my dedicated track wheels ('97 OEM) could use the help.

Thanks CL65 Captain!

Since I just started using the Cobalt pads I'm going to try this stuff. The pads are great except for the dust. Maybe this is a good solution (no pun intended).

I've been looking for a wheel cleaning technique that involved only rinsing...I should have known that Klasse would do it. I even have the AIO and sealant in my garage, sitting for about a year. hah. Time to do this before the winter hits for all of the cars.

I'm actually somewhat curious if the Captain has an update on how many events it took before the Klasse lost its effectiveness. I too tried the armorall with similar results....worked well for putting around, but one track day and fuggetaboutit.

I've also heard of folks opti-coating their wheels, and that crap is basically permanent sealant. Next time I swap wheels or get mine refinished, that's probably happening.
