in my 1997 i am noticing that the rear tweeter (that is correct?) between the seat doesn't work. I believe i read somewhen on this forum that the sub is powered by the same amp as the rear tweeter... the sub works fine.

What should i do to trouble shoot this. (determine if the problem is the tweeter or something else. Also can someone tell me how to get the tweeter out.

thanks for your help

Sorry, can't help you, but I know that my Bose(s) are screwed. Need to replace them soon!

I have not seen the center speaker fail but anything is posible. I would have the amp located in the sub repaired and then see how it works. My sub was working but not well and the center was dead. After repairing the amp both work great now.

I was always told that the center speaker works with the factory cell phone option and doesn't put out hardly any sound for radio. My sub works great, but I don't hear anything from my center speaker.

Remove the center arm rest, lift the bottom of inside of the arm rest and remove 4 screws. Remove the trim panel below the rear window, and the two panels behind the seats. With this removed you can get at the screws that hold the panel that the speaker is mounted in.
