booster pack and impact gun?

if I were to get a powerful (700A) booster pack and hook up a 7.5A corded impact gun to it though an inverter, would the charge in the booster be sufficient to power the impact gun for a couple or more wheel changes?

For the electrical engineers amongst us, what are the inputs and what equation do I need to figure this out?

I should get a booster pack anyways, but if there is a way to power a more powerfull than my cordless impact gun remotely that would be swell!

I have a cordless impact gun at work that is one of the best items we bought. It works flawlessly. I will post later today the brand and model number. Beware it was in the $300 range though. My guys use it for their road calls.

7.5 X120v = 900 Watts. Right off the top of my head I would say you would run down the jump pack in short order. Your inverter would have to handle the starting surge of the impact which will be twice or more of the
7.5 FLA and the inverter is at best 80% efficient which makes your jump pack load 9.375 amps at 7.5 to the tool.

Disclaimer I am not an electrical engineer but I could play one on TV.

so it sounds like it probably wont work that well.

My cordless impact gun only gets to 80ish lb ft, so its not very good at loosening stubburn lugs, and my compressor only puts out 3.7 scfm, so it cant do about 20% of the lugs, either. I swap wheels around frequently and theyre always torqued to 90 lbft.

My corded gun seems to get up to its advertised 250lbft, i wish it was more mobile though! But I don't think I'm up for buying another cordless one, yet anyways!!!

Thx guys!
