I felt the same way, it did look like magic. But I am not second guessing my oem cover purchase either. I plan on hanging onto my new silver oem cover and putting it into storage. Maybe 10 years from now I will reevaluate the situation. Right now you can still get the oem cover (maybe not all colors - you'd best act quickly) but they are definitely discontinued. BTW, the color match new cover to old is not 100%. Different dye lots I guess. But it's all just fine "shades of grey" pardon the pun.The repair above was $150.00 for all the areas.
