Anyone know about this one? It's for 2005 Black on Tan for sale for $9800 from William in Scotland. Says he can't get it imported to UK. Heres his last post to me:

Thank you for your interest about my car. Sorry for the delayed response, but I'm in Glasgow (Scotland) right now and I have been very busy. The total price of the 2005 Acura NSX is $9,300.00USD . THIS IS MY LAST PRICE. I'll not negociate the price. The car is registered and located in United States. I want to keep the car for me, but I cannot register it here, as it is made for the USA market, according to US standards. So, I decided to sell it.

Im sure it's a SCAM...if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

SCAMMMM!!!!!!!!! THIS HAPPENED TO ME IN SEVERAL OCCASIONS WHEN I TRIED TO BUY MY 1ST NSX EARLY THIS YEAR. THEY POSTED ON WWW.CARS.COM OR WWW.AUTOTRADER.COM

THEY WOULD EMAIL YOU LIKE : PUT THE DEPOSIT INTO THE 3RD PARTY AND THE CAR WILL BE SHIPPED TO YOUR HOUSE. IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, THE MONEY WILL FULLY REFUND ( YEAH RIGHT!!!!!!!). WHEN YOU TRY TO CALL THE PHONE LISTED ON THE WEB, IT IS A WRONG NUMBER. TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE.

WATCH OUT!!

ARGH!! When will people stop being idiots? The next person to post how they found a mint NSX for $4,000 and wants to know if it is real or a scam should be shot, beaten, shot again, and thrown off of Prime for the sake of humanity. How do some of you people get through the day alone without hurting yourselves?

Every week I see at least two or three of these brainless threads. And it's not like "be on the lookout for" or "watch out." No--it's "Is this car bogus?" or "Possible scam?" And It's not even ever close to being a realistic price. Uh, hello--$50K would be a scam for an 05, let alone $9K. :rolleyes::rolleyes:

Come on, even newbies can use their brains. Wow, good for you, you stumbled across a spam Autotrader post. It happens all the time. Wow. And it happens to NSXs. Wow. Flag it as fake and we don't need to hear about it unless it's someone on Prime's car and then it's funny. And that only happens like once a year. Anyone can and do rip pics from a dealer site. This is 2008, people. Are we not getting accustomed to this kind of internet scamming/spamming yet?

I'm surprised we don't see more threads in the off topic forum asking whether people should respond to this email they got asking them to send $10K to Africa so they can receive a wire for $5 million from the incarcerated prince of Zaire's nephew...:rolleyes: Is that bogus???

Why do people post these dumb a$$ threads. If you're that stupid you shouldn't have a drivers license.
 
For the heck of it, I ran the VIN.

Sold new at Jay Wolfe Acura, but the last and only warranty repair was at a different dealership, where they did front brake rotors. One registered owner in Interactive.

Wonder if the owner knows his car is for sale ;)
 
The good thing about people posting these scammer cars for sale is that it brings the dummies out of the bushes. It helps us to identify those people with IQ's under 100 and it let's us keep a watchful eye over them. Furthermore, if they keep answering those ads for the $9,000 NSX they'll never own one in the future so it keeps our gene pool nice and clean.
 
Hallow I'm mushu Obowi royal executer of the zumbi family car collection.We have much to much nsx in our garages and need to reduce them to make more room.If you would be so kind and generous to us as to accept a new 05 nsx for shipping cost only we will send the car too you. In all seriousness, can the moderators just delete these obviously idiotic and useless threads about if a $4,000 NSX is real or not? They are just taking up bandwidth and clogging up Prime.
