I have had several cars cleared of dings using a good Paintless Dent guy- it really is amazing what they can do. I had a pretty major dent in the door of my BMW, right thru the trim, etc.They got it looking perfect (even buffed out the scratches).I would give it a try before resorting to filler/paint.
