As most of u know, many aftermarket bodykit pieces for the NSX are available in either Carbon or FRP... Question is, which is more DURABLE??? And there are lots of types of "Carbon", such as CFRP, CF, Carbon Kelvar, etc... Whats their difference? Which is the toughest?

I plan to get the some kind of wide fenders for my NSX, I'm going to paint the panels anyways, so I don't really care if they're carbon or not, but I'm REALLY scared of door dings, what would happen if I get a door ding on FRP fenders??? Would it just crack like paper mache???

I can't answer your question there... but I am here to let you know that I am coming out a widebody NSX fenders (fronts and rears)about 1" on each side fronts and 2" on each side rears. I will post pictures when the final product installed on my car.

Hey i got an idea for the guy who is making a nsx body kit. I hope he reads this.

Make a wide front body kit and then the rear fenders. Here is what i think you should do. Make the front bumper wider by adding 2 inches to the middle section of the front bumper. Then you make the normal front fenders with a 1 inch piece of your material between the hood and the fender. Then when you put it on the car it should make the whole front of the car wider. I bet most people would like to see a real wide body kit not just an extension. Please realy think about doing this it might help on your sale numbers.

Hopefully you get what i mean.

Looking forward to see some more Widebody Kit since I am looking into it as well. Comptech is currently my Favorite so far. However, this guy name Perry locally here in Orange County/Los Angeles County Area wants to do a Kit for the NSX as well. He currently has one out for the S2000.

Can someone answer my questions please?

It was my impression that carbon-kevlar is stronger than full carbon-fiber. Carbon-fiber is slightly lighter, but probably not that much lighter for most NSX parts such as Taitec. I currently huse Taitec Carbon-Kevlar diffuser and it is very light.
