I have a set of DF front fenders new in the box.
I really would like to find a quality shop that will install & paint these parts. [I am running BBK, and my existing fenders are chewed up from my various maneuvers.]
I did take these to one good collision repair place (read: OEM only type place) and they wouldn't touch it.
Since the parts are FRP, there are small imperfections (pinholes) in the parts from DownForce, and the body lines look like they need a little work to match the car. I think this is pretty common with FRP parts. I need to find a shop that is used to working with this material, and willing to do the detail work.
Is anyone running these fenders? Do you like them? Where did you have these prepped/painted/installed? I'm in the SF Bay Area, hoping there is something around here!
