BMW Z3 finished production yesterday

I gotta sat that the styling pays homage to the S2k, ALOT. Other than the Traditional BMW front grille, most of its styling cues resembles a wedged-up stook, even the tail lights. In short, I kinda like the looks. But can the performance delivers as promised ?

I never much cared for BMWs, let alone the Z3. I don't like roadsters, especially ones with long hoods. Then I saw the movie Another Nine 1/2 Weeks, and I must say that the car was cast well in what I thought to be an overly visual and stylistic movie. The BMW product has the most class for the buck, and the performance numbers of their entire car line seems better than any other car makers. I can only assume that it is due to a variable valve timing scheme that is better than the competitions, when it works. Hmmm, a BMW/Honda merger...???
