So I blew open my DC Sports exhaust this past weekend at a HPDE at Road America. Car was backfiring a bit and eventually the muffler blew apart at the seams. All the heat coming out the seams melted my swaybar bushings and trunk tool kit foam a bit. Doh! Then to top it off my speedo stopped working on my last run. With all this I still had a better day than my friend who didnt make it through the kink. He went home on a flatbed, luckily with no injuries to himself or anyone else. It was still a great day and I plan on going again, just next time with HPDE insurance.
