Help!! I had the ATE brake fluid all over my car, not on the paint I meant ;) (I saw it in the ABS reservior, Clutch reservior too)

2 questions:

1. I had bleed my new rotors and pads, and seriously I've been through 4 new bottles of motul.. after driving for couple days, I decided to bleed a little more, somehow, my rear caliper still spitting out Green fluid, (well old=blue, new fluid is yellow) though it's a lot lighter than before... but I was wondering if I need to buy more new fluid and bleed it till it's crstal yellow color??

2. Since they use ATE blue on the clutch and ABS, and Honda doesn't recommend any but HONDA fluid on those, could anybody tell me if I should just change it back to Honda fluid??

thanks.

What is your question - what type of fluid to use or why is your system leaking?

I have used ATE Super Blue in all three systems for many years with no trouble at all.

If you were happy with Motul why did you change to ATE?

Which rear wheel? If it’s the right rear then you may need to bleed it some more since the brake line is so long. The Motul should be fine in the ABS and Clutch. It might take a few more bottles to get the blue color out of the system but I wouldn’t worry about it too much.

This is normal. Due to friction along the tube walls the blue dye is very hard to completely remove, even after the new fluid has gone through the system. It also tends to darken the reservoir bottle. This is why I only use ATE200 now. It isn’t very hard to tell when the new fluid is flowing, even when they are similar colors.

Thank you 1badnsx, seems like you are the only person who understand me through my poor language... :o
I guessed I got your answer on the #1 question.

To clarify a little, I didn't put the ATE Blue in the car, previous owner did, however, I didn't know how long had he had the fluid in it; nor I was too keen to flip through all the service records he faxed me when I purchased the car.

Oh, by the way, thank you to AndyVecsey and DanO too, I think I got the expert answers from you even you guys don't really understand what I'm trying to ask... :p Next time, I'll try to prove read my posts before I hit the submit button; it just a little hard for me to do it since I was using the company computer while the nsx is warming up outside of the building..:p
