Lol, thanks for the compliments all. Yeah, I definitely love the look and I agree, the side markers should be tinted as well as the front turn signal and windows. But I never intended to go the all black route, but now after seeing how much attention it gets and how mean it looks, I may have to reconsider. I just wished I had seen this before I re-leathered my seats with the ivory center. I'm still trying to see if I can still buy them off of the Factor X guys, but I get the feeling it would require lots of lap dances to even get them to consider. The funny thing is of all the places to have an all black car, Las Vegas is one of the last places you would think of. The dust is magnetically attracted to the car and sticks out like a sore thumb. But worst of all, I think the temperture in Vegas area drops about 2 degrees when I pull my car out of the garage because the black just sucks the sunlight in like a black hole.
As far as the performance, I'm putting together a full review over the weekend along with video and sound clips and dyno run. Needless to say I've been on perma-grin since picking it up. It runs great and sounds even better. The sound is really unique, the turbo spool is really loud and very distinctive. It's a little different than the other turbo NSX's I driven. It's much more torquier and linear than I've experienced and the power comes on very early (full boost at about 3,000 rpms.) It almost feels like a cross between a supercharger and a turbo in that the turbo kick is not as punchy and the pull is more linear. But there is definitely the turbo rush and high end of the turbo. I really like the set up as it is very, very streetable, power seems to always be on tap.
I'll post more once I have a chance to drive it a bit more over the weekend.
