So I'm picking up my newly boosted FX500 from Factor X and it turns out there was a problem with leak on my old Bridgestone Potenzas. Being the great and generous guys that they are, the Factor X guys offer to loan me their all black Volks with BF Goodrich drag radials until I can get a new tire. Gee, isn't that so nice of them?

Holy cow, I love the way it looks! It just looks so mean, you just got to see how intimidating it looks in person. I tried and tried, begged, pleaded to get them to sell me them, but to no avail. So I decided to snap these pics of my car with the wheels for what will be a very limited time. :frown:

turbocharged and sitting on all black volk CE-28N's...Fantastic:eek: I like them better than your other rims, dont be mad:tongue:

Looks mean as hell:eek:, its got that don't mess with me look, yet looks clean at the same time.

I love those wheels:wink:

I have to agree. Since you have a mean engine under there...you want to make your overall image mean as well.

I highly recommend you to get some black rims now and sell your other ones.

all that black and white centers in the seats. lol:tongue:

If you tint the windows and replace the center inserts on the seats with you can have it as Black on black on black on black on black on black on black.

Very mean looking Darth Vader. Let's hear how it breath.

Beautiful, perfect!!!! love it!
Is Nsx's like those that keep me coming back over and over to the site .. and make me dream about my future NSX!

OScar

I like... Jason is right, do the side markers too... and I would even get rid of the "A" on the front...

that looks gangsta! Me likey!, now go represent us berlina blacks

Lol, thanks for the compliments all. Yeah, I definitely love the look and I agree, the side markers should be tinted as well as the front turn signal and windows. But I never intended to go the all black route, but now after seeing how much attention it gets and how mean it looks, I may have to reconsider. I just wished I had seen this before I re-leathered my seats with the ivory center. I'm still trying to see if I can still buy them off of the Factor X guys, but I get the feeling it would require lots of lap dances to even get them to consider. The funny thing is of all the places to have an all black car, Las Vegas is one of the last places you would think of. The dust is magnetically attracted to the car and sticks out like a sore thumb. But worst of all, I think the temperture in Vegas area drops about 2 degrees when I pull my car out of the garage because the black just sucks the sunlight in like a black hole.

As far as the performance, I'm putting together a full review over the weekend along with video and sound clips and dyno run. Needless to say I've been on perma-grin since picking it up. It runs great and sounds even better. The sound is really unique, the turbo spool is really loud and very distinctive. It's a little different than the other turbo NSX's I driven. It's much more torquier and linear than I've experienced and the power comes on very early (full boost at about 3,000 rpms.) It almost feels like a cross between a supercharger and a turbo in that the turbo kick is not as punchy and the pull is more linear. But there is definitely the turbo rush and high end of the turbo. I really like the set up as it is very, very streetable, power seems to always be on tap.

I'll post more once I have a chance to drive it a bit more over the weekend.
