Weather in California is great, went for a spirited drive yesterday AM, then came home, detailed the car, and snapped some new photos. Not much has changed since last time I posted pictures, except used some FoliaTec paint on the calipers but the resolution ont the photo's doesnt show that too well. Brembo's are on the wish list. Let me know what you think, hopefully this works!

Awesome choice of wheels, are those gun metal or bronze? ITs kinda hard to tell in the pic.

Also I've said it once and I'll say it again. I hate all you guys in warm weather right now!!! I hate to think that right now someone is driving their X and I'm up here piling on layers of cloths just to walk outside! HAHAHAHA I'm just messing with ya all.

Keep it up. One question for ya. I'm thinking about getting the comptech adjustable suspension too, how much adjustability do you have? 0-3 inches? 0-2 inches? How is the ride?

Thanks for the compliments. I started thinking nobody liked the look since I posted on Monday!!!! The wheels are bronze. I have been thinking about polishing them, but have never pulled the trigger because they are distinctive and I like the "race" or "SCCA" look.

Seems to be about 0-3" total, but realistically we all want the car to have a lowered look, so when that is taken into consideration you only have 1-1.5" to play with.

I have no complaints about the ride. The Koni shocks are great, in the softest setting the ride is as close to stock as you can get - not at all harsh. When you tighten the shocks down they are extremely stiff, very little body roll, and as you would expect you feel every bump with a harsh ride. Great at this setting for auto-x or track.

Nice!

Do you have any rubbing issues with the wheels/tire combo? Did they clear the calipers easily? What are the exact sizes of the rims and tires, as well as offsets?

Long live black carz!

The sizes are 17x7.5 and 18x9, 40mm offset with 215/40/17 and 265/35/18 tires.

There are no issues with rubbing with this combo and they clear the calipers no problem. When my car was up at Comptech we put the wheels on their NSX with the Brembo big brake kit, the rear cleared but the front needed a very small spacer. maomaonsx, looks like you have different brakes up front? what are they + do they clear w/o spacer?

Valeno and maomaonsx, I love the WW kit, that is the next mod (after the sway bars I am putting on this weekend).
