Greetings and happy holidays! I apologize in advance if this is posted elsewhere but... I was checking out some of the Mecum auction yesterday on TV and right after a commercial break a '91 with 17K miles hammered for $47,000. Looked to be a very clean all stock example with the exception of the wheels. The commentators mentioned more than once how the market has really taken off on these cars and they would expect to see many more in future auctions.

For what it's worth, a friend of mine had his friend go to Mecum to bid on another car and while he was there saw that NSX. He stated, it looked like it had closer to 117k miles than 17k miles.

So weird reading this, my dad actually bought that car. He's a speculator/car collector and thinks the NSXs are going to take off after the release of the new ones. Kind of funny, I've always loved the car and am now looking for a little higher mile car that can actually be driven after driving the snot out of my dad's. He made the mistake of storing it in my garage for a few days until he could transport it to his storage location :). I'm not too sure how to embed pictures, but here are the ones sent from the action.

The car is super clean, interior is near perfect condition. One thing that may have made someone think the car had not aged well is the seller didn't apply a super thick coat of wax before the auction. If you've ever been Mecum or the likes, then you'll know what i'm talking about. They cover dog paint jobs with thick lipstick to pretty them up.
