Billy

I forgot to mention that I was in the car for about 2 hours and the floor was so hot I got 2nd degree burns on both my heels, blistering nicely.

Anyway I'm hanging out in North Carolina talking to people, teams, and playing with cars. After a special tour through all of the Roush, Roush-Yates, Roush-Fenway, teams, fabrication shops, and engine departments, all I can say is wow.

It's true almost all of the teams are located in a small town in North Carolina in a huge industrial park. My tour consisted of seeing the Roush cars being built from start to finish, chassis, drivetrain, body, etc... The technology, work, and effort that goes into these cars are astounding. Looking at the #6 truck of Colin Braun stripped down to the chassis (when it raced a few days ago) and seeing the cup cars getting ready for Indy. Things happen fast.

There are cars everywhere, primary, backup, R&D, and so many for different configurations and tracks it's truly unbelievable. You really have to see it to believe it. After seeing all of this, it gives me such an appreciation and interest in the sport because it's downright impressive.

Oh the pit-stop practices that the teams do every day was amazing.

You know, just because you are in North Carolina, doesn't mean you had to drive barefoot.:biggrin:

Yes I was in the Charlotte-Concord area.

Haha, I think they would have been 3rd degree burns if I was.

Congrats Billy! Keep up the good work and put something on those feet.
