Billy Johnson at Lime Rock

We have beautiful weather here in the Northeast for the Memorial Day weekend so I took a little drive up to Lime Rock to spend some time away from work relaxing at the track. Billy is running in the Koni Challenge there this weekend and I grabbed a few shots during qualifying yesterday. This is his first time running the BMW and he qualified 14th for tomorrow's race.

Thanks Bob, for the great photos. All I ever manage to get with my point and shoot Nikon is empty track due to the digital lag. :biggrin:

I was there yesterday with the Miata club. Parade laps were fun and although we did manage to hit about 70 on the front straight, still weren't quite as good as they were last year in the NSX. It's nice to get around the track top down, however.

Hey, did you manage to get any pics of the Playboy blondes sponsoring one of the cars? They were out on the grid for the start of the final race yesterday.

Unfortunately I wasn't down by the grid because I had camped out for a prime photo location in the uphill to get shots like these:
