Big Sur afternoon drive - musings

Just a thought for those of you looking for a nice PM drive. Heading down HWY 1 south around 4pm. All the traffic northbound and backed up for three miles. Destination Nepanthes for the views and some of the trinkets I enjoy from their unique shop. After Nepanthes drive back to Rocky Point for drinks, dinner and desert. Locals (like me) get a special price at Rocky Point. After dinner driving back thru Carmel back to Pebble Beach.

All and all a wonderful drive free of traffic at the times chosen and able to enjoy the NSX for the first time this year.

Just saw your post and that was the weekend of the US Open and I am NEVER in town for events such as this. Perhaps some other time.
