Questionable selling tactics for a 2005 blue NSX and then even more questionable dealings with fleabay.

It appeared that there was possible shill bidding the first fleabay listing and then it was relisted with no reserve the second time with more questionable bidding.

After being shown as "sold" for $65,100, the dealer continued to list it on their website and a phone call to them today resulted in their representation that they still had the vehicle for sale.

Gee, I wonder how a no reserve fleabay auction showing the vehicle was "sold" could be consistent with the same dealer telling me it was still in their inventory and available for purchase on May 22 despite it being "sold" on May 17..............

I am proud to be part of Prime

Thanks for posting this. I have seen some of their listings but was always leary of them and avoided anything they were offering. This confirms the suspicion.

Well at least he's closer to the truth.

These guys have brass ones. The car is listed again on fleabay. Amazing how a car that gets "sold" twice at no reserve auctions can keep popping up.....

The fleabay auction is now over and the car has been sold for a third time. It looks like the "winning bidder" is another dealer given the amount of bids on vehicles. Let's see if this one turns out to be another fake auction. What I find curious is that the winning bidder is paying more in the ebay auction than the asking price for the car on the Southeast Auto Group website.

Well it appears this dealer has successfully learned how to clone an NSX. They "sold" this car three times so far, twice at no reserve auctions and once with a reserve (where it actually "sold" for more than the buy it now price on their website!).

It just went "unsold" on fleabay with a top bid of $50,100.

the funny thing is if you look at all the other NSX's for sale none have a starting bid of 100 dollars... they want to make it look like a bunch of people are bidding on it so other real bidders will think man that must be a hot item.

cant you report them to fleabay or do that not care.
