Beware of this '93 on ebay

This is the same 93 that was discussed earlier this month here:

and here:

I emailed the seller asking him to explain the odometer discrepancy, and have received no response.

There are currently no bids on it, and I hope it stays that way.

Yeah, I also noted in one of the previous threads that the 2 sellers were bidding on the other's auction. Unfortunately, some poor sap will not read this and will think he/she is getting a deal. A 94 Green with low miles was recently sold for 31,500. The carfax came back with about 3 times that mileage on 2 different reports and the seller claimed it was for a better insurance rating. Never heard that one before!

Yes, I saw that car. I emailed the seller asking him about the car, after I read the carfax on the forum.

His replies were very short, and he gave me a number to call. When I asked him (on email) why the car showed 100K on the carfax, he replied with a "if you're really serious about it, call me". I didn't feel like listening to his BS.

That lame-ass explanation about the mileage discrepancy in his description was added after my first emails, before I asked him about it. He must have received many questions about it.

It pisses me off when people have absolutely no conscience, and have no qualms about ripping people off. This not only hurts the people that get duped, and end up paying too much for an inferior car, but also the real sellers, who are automatically under suspicion, just because they are using ebay to sell their car.
