Hey fellow enthusiasts,
I wanted to ask how is the best method of getting comparables of recently sold NSXs?
I got into a car accident with my silver NSX, and the insurance is providing bad comps of sold cars that are not even in my state. They are using Mitchell to figure out the values. I'm getting reamed with the valuation. I want to provide them more accurate numbers that are in California (not in Illinois and Utah). What was truly unbelievable was that they listed the condition of my car as good, but then deducted almost $7800 in value for the bad condition of my seats. This is complete BS, as the real glaring issue is the worn part of the driver's side bolster. The rest of the two seats are fine (not many cracks, no cuts, wear in small places except for that side bolster). Even the rep said that he couldn't believe the adjuster would have deducted so much for one seat.
I checked out eBay, but couldn't find many ones there that were recently sold. I also checked out the Prime Marketplace, but it doesn't list what the car actually sold for (unless the seller posted it) or if it even sold.
Is there a better way to get this info, which would include the VIN and verifiable sold prices as market value (not wholesale / auction prices)?
Thanks!
