Looking to educate myself on specific sleeve options for the C30/C32. Putting together a list of folks to call, but need more research before I make the calls. I have gotten to where I understand the different types and the cooling differences (I think) , but wondering what folks like Shad/Toda would advise as to what works well for our block? In general I see press fit “straight” sleeves ,“step sleeves” that either “register/hold” the sleeve at a ridge around the top, the bottom, or half way up (mid) sleeves (which seem to simply clamp a loose sleeve in place). As understandable current knowledge seems to be heavily skewed towards high boost applications- where Darton easily replaceable mid-sleeves thrive. My personal interests end at a NA and possibly 3.5 stroker. Any thoughts/experience appreciated.

The best sleeves are the ones that are properly installed, bored, and honed.

Apparently Benson is no longer doing these blocks so that leaves you with Darton MID sleeves which a variety of shops will install (both Mountune and Howards Hot Rods/Darton East did a garbage job on my blocks so don't use them) or LA sleeves which I think Shad uses.

I'm pretty jaded at this point, but there really isn't a shop that has an actually good track record for doing NSX blocks as far as I can tell so good luck and be prepared to wreck your wallet. Built motors often blow up and unless you've got a huge online following to roast whoever screwed you over or a good lawyer you'll just get told tough luck, its just the way the game goes. If I could do it all again I wouldn't do it at all.
