your 1500 rpm (quick)launch drag style should not burn out your clutch.if you start revving to 3000 and higher I Know it WILL smoke your clutch (oem). I did it to mine when I first got her.FYI also your tcs limits fuel so as to not break your tires loose aka burnout.but you should try to master launching with the tcs off at about 2000 rpm doing a full race dump.its really pretty safe.this advice applies only if your into the drag thing.I cant remember the poster but someone said do a smooth low rpm launch and then run thru the gears like you stole it.works for me.but I will warn you again.if drag type launches are your thing better start saving now for a good strong clutch.only a matter of time.but as I see it.your car your money have fun if you can pay the piper when he comes calling.and he will best regards David
