Have a day to kill next week and wondered what they top courses within, say 20 miles of San Jose are? I don't want to spend more than about $100.

Thanks!

I golf at Cinnabar Hill on a regular basis. It is a tricky course and it is more than $100. My parents live at The Ranch at Silver Creek and I played there a few times. No a bad one at all. Another choice is Coyote Creek.

I agree that Cinnabar Hills is a tricky course. Definately not a course to simply blast balls; club management is key

Cinnabar sounds good and I checked out the site. Its only $60 after 1230pm which is about the time I will get in anyways.

Anyone up for a round on Election Day?? PM or email me.

Thanks!

Darn, wish I can join you, it's tough to get a day off work mid-week. Just wondering, I assume you're flying in from out of town; how to carry/send your clubs over on the plane? Or do you plan to use rentals? I'm going on a trip to Miami in a few weeks and want to bring my clubs along but have no idea how to bring them along without having them get damaged by the baggage guys tossing them around.

I use a hard sided case. About $100 at any sports store.
