If you just need paint, body kit, wide body installation, fabrication, custom work interior/exterior, etc. I highly recommend:

MV Designs (aka NSXworld)
1514 N. Susan St. #D
Santa Ana, CA 92703
(714) 554-2728

There are 5 NSXes at the shop at the moment getting work done. NSX owners are picky bunch, so there is reason why people use MV Designs. However they are not a body shop so if you need major collision repair you might have to use a real body shop.

Lanzini body works in Huntington Beach
I don't think Lanzini has done that much work on NSX's. However, I can tell you first hand that they do very, very good work on other cars. From "garden variety" 911's to hot rods and antique cars.

Bravo in Torrance is Southbay Acura's shop and they have worked on a lot of NSX's.

MV has a lot of good testimonials from OC guys.

If you want a place in the Southbay 310, I would recommend either Bravo or Reflections.

In OC give MV or the other recommendations a try.

Christian,
Yes, Lanzini work on NSXes, they are one of the few shops that can work on aluminum. Like MV Designs, shop that work on custom/hotrods usually does better job than shops that only work on SportCompact. For one simple reason, majority of ricers are chesapeakes. Shops that work on hot rods got a set of high standard, reputation, pride in profession they keep. MV Designs are actually a hot rod/custom/NSX specialist.

One example of Lanzini's work on NSX:

Looks good either way any of those shops mentioned should be a good choice. I am not favoring anyone in particular myself. I have seen the work of all the shops and they all look pretty good.

So if you are looking in 310 then go to those two shops.....if you are looking to put your car in the OC area then go to the ones mentioned and check them out.

I'm not disagreeing that Lanzini has worked on NSX's but when I spoke with the owner at length about a year and a half ago (is his name Mitch??), he told me that he has mostly done bumper repaints, etc. and had done very few full NSX's. He told me his specialty was P cars and hot rods.

I've seen Lanzini's work first hand and can attest to the quality of his products. Very, very well done complete hot rods that cost a mint but looked like they cost a mint.

BTW - is that Tan's old car? I'm not much into modded NSX's but I always thought he had a beautiful ride.

Mitch @ Lanzini's did the bumper on my NSX...red color match was perfect. He also repaired the nose of our new Honda Fit that the da*n contractors backed into. Did an excellent job. He sounds very busy though...SEMA etc.

San Padro Auto Body did all the work on NSX's for Acura when they came off the boat and needed work. They did over 100 NSX's in the first year alone. Talk to Fabian at (310)831-8456.

Besides MV Design (as mentioned above), I believe Cerritos Acura is recommended.
