I have one and like it very much. It is small and has bailed me out many times. It usually rates in the top 2-3 and the differences between one and three are acceptable. It also rates very high in K and Ka band and I like that as well. It also has great X band filtering (or turned off) as 99% of the guns are K/Ka band or Laser.It has a lot of adjustment and programming which I will never use.Best of all (for me) is I have it hot wired behind my head between the seats on my Dali Camera Mount. The voice feature is excellent as it talks into my ear - yet can not be seen when standing along side the car (I set it to black out the lights).It is also 1/2 to 1/3 as much money as some of the slightly higher rated competitors.I haven't run into any Laser traps and don't know how well it will work. That said I doubt any of them will work well against laser.One thing - I have never owned a V1 and know that many people who have more experiance then me would never part with their V1's at any price and swear by their purchase.
