How often do you guys visit the past? Ever accidentally keep a time capsule of your own?
I was cleaning out some old stuff today (the last of the stuff to go into the garage cabinet). I dug out a few things that made me really miss the good times in the past.
First thing was a pager that I bought in the early 90's, when cellphones weighed a brick still and were too expensive. I can't believe I still had the receipt for that thing.
I also discovered that for some reason I kept all of my undergrad university parking passes. That brought back memories of my college car - a 91 Nissan 240SX coupe, a real thing of beauty.
Then I discovered some post cards from Europe from when I lived overseas, including momentos from the Guiness brewery tour, tickets to Austria the weekend Princess Diana passed away, and tickets and brochure to Anne Frank's house in Amsterdam.
The smallest things that I kept for some unknown reason really brought back some nice memories.
Too many good memories from the past... Sometimes they are one of the most valuable things we can have.
