Hello all,
I'm listing my BEGI/Cartech TT system for sale.
The only reason why I'm considering the sale of the system is due to the fact that I would eventually like to build the motor and go larger boost. Note: if the system does not sell, I will be more than happy to keep it. I just figured I would list it and see if anyone would be interested. Who knows? I'll probably end up changing my mind anyhow...
here are the details on the kit:
-Shipped brand new from Cartech in May of 2002.
-From what I know, this is one of the latest kits sold my Cartech before Aerodynes issues.
-Aerodyne turbo owners now have a service center that can rebuild these turbos if ever needed in the future
-Rated at 390 hp at 6psi with 305 'lbs torque
-0-60 in 4.4 and 1/4 mile in 12.8s but someone on this forum had achieved 11.9 on yokohama AO32's (sp?) with the same kit.
-Kit has only ~8K miles
-I've been running just 5psi, so the turbos are still fresh and have never been over-spooled.
-Comes with Greddy Rebic IV with 2 additional injectors
-Aerodyne T128 turbos with 250 trim
-3" core intercoolers
-Borla exhaust (but the pipes may need to be rebent to fit factory rear valances.
-Mechtech modified ECU (but I will need a stock ecu for a '91-'94 in return)
-Pillar pod with an Autometer boost gauge and Autometer Fuel pressure gauge
Price is $6500
the car is located in San Diego and anyone who is interested can come out and I will take them for a drive. Otherwise, you can ask some of the prime canyon drive 3 participants for their opinions...
I will be having Gerry Johnson remove the kit, so I will have Gerry be a mediator for the transaction. Obvisously I will be able to take numerous digital photos of the kit and the install so that the new owner will have them as referrence.
Please try and keep all the questions to the serious buyers. I don't mind answering other peoples questions, but I would like to keep it to a minimum. (I'm sure all of you can understand)
I'll most likely be better off if no one buys my kit, since it would save me a tremendous amount of money in the long run.
