Well, after the wide body, for some reason, the car didn't sit right. It had Eibachs on stock struts, and it looked like a jacked up 4x4 again:

We installed a set of coil overs and cranked them down. We can almost fit a 2x4 under the front:p

Went with the Ground Control 650# front, 550# rears on Koni yellows. Really haven't gotten a chance to drive the car, but it seems quite firm.

Happy motoring,

Ben

As always, looking great Ben.
I'm considering Ground Controls as one option myself - let me know how they work out. (have heard the Koni's can be a little hard for street?) I see Dali has a similar option (looks identical to GC height adjustment) for the Bilsteins - Koni's have better tuning capability but just want something good all-round for street driving.

I've been running ground controls with 325/425 on stock koni yellows, and 450/550 before that, for the last few years. I'm really not all that happy with it. I just don't think the damping is well-matched to the springs, and no amount of adjustment really makes up for it. I think Ben's car will have a punishing ride.

If I were doing it again, I'd just get the Teins. Approximately the same price. Way lighter (the steel-bodied Konis are really heavy), and you get valving matched to the springs.
