Been to Argentina / Peru / Brazil?

Just planning a trip in the new year with my brothers to South America for a month or so..anyone been? I have a friend in Rio but I also want to tour peru /argentina as it's spanish and has the mountains. Anyone been and can comment /provide info?

Machu Picchu in Peru looks really cool, and I'm sure there's lots of other things to see. Any info would be appreciated. Of course we plan on spending a bunch of time in Buenos Aries as well. Any recommendations would be appreciated!

I was there 2 years ago for 4 months. Machu pichu is cool, find time to tour lake titi caca while there. If you can sneak away from buenas aires you could take a boat to montevideo in uruguay(cool city) and drive to punta del este (one of several argentinian winter vacation spots) a must if in chile is suezia street in santiago(party and hottie central!)

If I were you I would try to go to Machu Pichu as much as possible. Ok, so I am originally from Peru, but believe me, it's an awesome place to visit. You are going to leave that place thinking "How the hell did they do that?".
