Bear Mountain, NY - Every Wednesday Night

Any of you with free time on Wednesday evenings should try to make the Bear Mtn. Car Show/Cruise. This 20 yr old event is no longer just for domestic hot rods and customs.

There are many foreign, sports, exotics and bikes now. Many smaller groups of Hondas, Mitsu, Nissan, Audi, VW, FS/Lambo and Porsche group together by manufacturer and they socialize and tech talk.

In by 6pm, out by 8:30 every Wed all Summer long.

Let me know who would be interested. Let's get some NSX representation there weekly!

wednesday are my auction days, however I will try to make it this coming week.

I will be there this Wed between 6pm and 6:30 at the front of the Inn parking area. At 6:30, we go in thru gate to lawn area. It would be nice to have a few X's go in together and park together.

Maybe we can on Wed nite discuss some Flushing weekend runs or any other convenient centrally located areas for members.

Bear mtn was nice! One of the better nights lately w/o rain. Sorry, I forgot to bring the camera. Next week.

Saw a nice CRX with extreme horsepower and lightweight everything very similar to the jadkar ride.

There are some goofey looking rides there on occasion. I think you will enjoy it. If it does rain however, I have some SHAMWOWS in the trunk for us because "We can't do this all day!"

We are doing it again! This Wed. nite -- 6pm meet outside the gate -- NSX's go roaring in together! COOOL!

Cruise cancelled (rain) last night. That's what is so much fun with an aluminum car. All this fun, and you never have to worry about the car getting cancer like all my old English cars.
I had an awesome drive around the mountains during the heavy showers, got to test my wiper blades. The Yoko's that I am using are not good a rain tire though.

Arrived home at 9, washed it, wiped it down and it is ready for the "4th!"

Just got back from Bear Mtn. Drifter was there with his T-Rex. It's an awesome bike! It drew a lot of attention from what I could see. I have never seen one of these.

RSO 34 also came out with his black 96. Nice weather tonight. Great to get together with local Primers on an informal basis.

Here is a picture someone took of the T-Rex .... I considered buying one of these till I saw how much one cost and finding out that no one is really qualified to repair one in case of an accident where frame damage is involved... still an awesome vehicle thou

Hey, want to get out and drive your NSX a little Wed. nite at 6pm? I'm bringing mine. Let's get some NSX's there this week to park together. We can talk about the River Run and how much fun it was and the NSXPO coming this Sept. It's always fun!

Please note: there is a new plan for entering the event which supersedes the previous posts.
Go through the entrance, pay the $4.00 fee and drive straight back to the parking area to meet. They have been chasing me from across the street where I waited because that is for the park personnel. Once inside, do not turn right to enter where it directs the Show Cars. I will explain this in the parking area when we meet. Hope to see a nice turnout. :biggrin:
