It looks pretty good. But in my opinion that spoiler looks better on a nsx that has the black top. It just doesn't look right when there is only one thing that has this different color to the whole car. But that is just my opinion. Hey do you feel anything different like better grip because of that spioler. Look nice still but just a little awkward.

Sweet!! BTW,where did you get it and how much?

This type r style spoiler is not from SOS, it's made by one of our related CF factory
in japan. The styling It's not exactly same as the oem but very similiar and comes with LED. Thanks to the one piece CFRP design this spoiler only weights "5 lbs". so if you like the type r look and don't want to spent so much, this will be a good choice. You can see more detail pictures here http://dreamzsportproduct.com/dreamzsportindex.htm
The price of this spoiler is $650 and I will have more instock by Tuesday. Thanks!

Hi Midnight_Raven,

Look at my ebay auction you will see some more pics of this spoiler on different color NSX's (created by photoshop). IMO it looks very nice on yellow nsx.

To be honest, at higher speed I do felt
more stability with this spoiler. I think it's because of the dimensions of this spoiler is very similiar to the oem type-r spoiler. I am impressed by the result, it's some thing you have to experience to find out

Very nice, but before I order, please let me know the warranty against sagging long term. Better yet, what is the frame structure underneath? I've been burned by this sagging problem of aftermarket spoilers twice in the past, hence my need to know. Thanks.

zoomnsx,

frame structure underneath is full (FRP) Fiber Reinforced Plastic construction, and on top of the FRP construction exposed full CFRP with high gloss mirror-like coating.

We offer 1-year limited warranty from date of shipment against manufacturing defects, but we do not cover external damage or wear from usage.

Best regard,
Gary

At that price I would jump in for one but...can you make one that it's identical to the nsx-r? cuz that's the one I really like. pls keep me posted at dsam888@yahoo.com if that's feasable

The NSX-R spoiler does not have "visible carbon fiber" (weave visible under clearcoat). Instead its covered under a gloss black finish.

From what I read this is not a true Carbon Fiber spoiler. It is just a Carbon layed over a plastic of fiber glass spoiler. The real OEM spoiler is a true Carbon fiber spoiler. The other thing to consider is what kind of epoxy they used. I have done some research and most epoxy that they use with Carbon Fiber will not hold up to the UV light. They will turn yellow over time. These are the corners that are cut with cheap carbon fiber. You can see this on a lot of the ricer style wings now that have been out for more then a year. Plus since it is new will it bow over time. Plus the real wing has the Carbon fiber showing. That is some of the NSX-R look. painting it black is just not the same thing.

The next question is it true carbon fiber over lay or just a fake carbon over the plastic.

If you guys look on the forum you will see what honda did to build the wing. You can see they did not take any short cuts. Honda wants $6000 for their all carbon fiber wing. Do you think some one is going to sell you a copy for $700 and it be just as good. My opinion you get what you paid for.

Just my thought. I want a CF wing. I am waiting a little longer for a true copy comes out with all the above concerns taken care of.

Jim
