Here's a new one for me, so I'm looking for opinions/suggestions/ideas on the following:
I don't drive the NSX too often, but when I do, I usually drive 250-400 miles. When the weather is warm here in SoCal, say over 90 degrees, I sometimes experience a complete loss of power in one of two cases - parking, or attempting to start the car after parking.
This is remedied by me opening the hood and jiggling/reconnecting the battery terminal connector clamp that has suddenly popped off.
I'm assuming this is occuring due to the DPO (Dreaded Previous Owner in Lotus-speak :wink, who overtightened the clamps when fastening the cable to the terminals. As such, they are stretched to begin with, and stretch more when the temp is hot.
Thoughts on this hypothesis, and any solution suggestions?
Many thanks.
