I heard a rumor that Mark Basch is closing his shop. I certainly hope that's not true. I had the pleasure of meeting him, his wife and his dog biggrin: ) very briefly at NSXPO this year and what great people. I'd hate for the community to lose such a valuable asset.

I am happy to report that the rumors of my demise have been greatly exagerated.

Retirement is a few years away, kinda. We have sold the building / eqpt / use rights etc to a group who operating under a differant name (Az Power and Sound) and specialize in the new GTO, and Vette. I lease back a small part of the area I have occupied for years, and downsized operations to the point that I do ALL mechanical work myself. I have several projects I am finishing as well as out of town (and out of the country) NSX projects on the immediate schedule.

If and when my toolbox goes into storage at home, Y'all will be the first to know.

I guess I have mixed emotions. I don't know about you but retirement sounds pretty damned good to me so I was excited for you. But, to be honest, I'm a selfish bastard and I'm glad you'll continue to be available as such a valuable asset to the community.

It sounds like you've retired into a more worry free life without the shop to look after :smile:! Congratulations on selling it. Tell the truth, you sold the shop and then couldn't bear to be away from the NSX. :wink: :biggrin:
